- *The hazardous chemicals used in chemical cleaning cum
etching may release hydrogen onto the surface of the
metal and causes embrittlement of the same. Sometimes
improper removal of dust constituents from chemical
etching takes place leaving a smut on the metal surface.
All these are avoided by sputtering process as it is a eco-
friendly process; in addition a good substitute process for
etching.
