Dr.V.Ganesh, Scientist was presented the Young Scientist Award on the occasion of CSIR Foundation Day Celebrations at CSIR HQ, New Delhi on 26th September, 2014 for his significant contribution in the modulation of electron transport across electrode-electrolyte interfaces of metal and semiconductor electrodes, in electrocatalysis and in the area of biosensors.

Dr. S. Vasudevan, Principal Scientist has been awarded Eminent Scientist Award 2013 by Indian Society for Electro Analytical Chemist (ISEAC)  for his contribution in the area of Electrochemical Science and Technology.  The award carries a cash prize of Rs.20,000 /- and a citation.

The Central working committee of the National Pollution Control and Environment Conservation Committee have awarded the Bharath Rathna Sir Vishveshvaraiah National Parisara Award 1999 to Dr. S. Pushpavanam scientist in recognition of his services in Pollution control and environment conservation.

Natesan, Scientist which was sponsored by ONGC and presented at the World CORCON 2009 – International Conference and Expo on Corrosion held at Mumbai during 29 September – 1 October 2009.







Dr. N. Muthukumar former Research Scholar for his thesis on “Investigations of internal Corrosion and its inhibition in petroleum products transporting pipeline” under the guidance of Dr. N. Palaniswamy, Scientist `G’ and HOD, Corrosion Protection Division which was sponsored by ONGC and presented at the World CORCON 2009 – International Conference and Expo on Corrosion, has received NIGIS Best Ph.D. award held at Mumbai during 29 September – 1 October 2009.







Dr. P. Veeramani, Scientist, IMF Division and Dr. S. Mohan, Scientist, Electroplating and Metal Finishing Technology Division have been selected for the Best Electroplater Award for the years 2005 and 2006 respectively. The Award was conferred on them at the valedictory function of the Fifteenth National Convention of Electrochemists (NCE-15) held at VIT University, Vellore during February 18-19, 2010. 







Dr. S. Sathiyanarayanan, Scientist has been selected as a recipient of NIGIS Award for Excellence in Corrosion Science for the year 2009-2010.  This award has been presented to him during ‘CORCON 2010’ East Asia & Pacific Area: Corrosion Conference & Expo during 23-26 September 2010 at Intercontinental the Lalit Goa Resort, Goa. Dr. M. Shahid Anwar received the Madhya Pradesh Young Scientist Award for Physics for the year – 2009.

III year Student of CECRI has been awarded first place for his Presentation of the Paper titled “Morphological and anticorrosive characteristics of Electrodeposited 316 Stainless Steel” under the supervision of Dr. S.
