The Centre is gearing up for a sourcing point in the country for PEM fuel cell and battery technologies adaptable to chosen applications. Towards this goal, eco-friendly material processing using nanoscience and technology will be the major focus in the next five years. This is expected to lead in to the following products Development of fuel cell stacks for stationary and automobile applications Development of DAFCs for portable applications Development of novel materials for Lithium-ion batteries and Sodium ion batteries This will be accomplished in collaboration with user industries in a public-private mode.
